Sam and Max second season concludes

The last episode of Sam and Max season two came out on PC recently, and is available via Telltale’s website. Not only that, but Telltale have officially announced that season one will be coming to the Wii later this year. We’re big fans of the crazy pair here at JGG, and reckon the games will be perfect for the Wii. Though the puzzles are fiendish, the control scheme is pretty straightforward and should readily translate to the Wiimote.

Just Cause 2 arriving soon

January 7th, 2008 ThreeHeadedMonkey Posted in PC, Playstation, Xbox 360 No Comments »

A load of new info has just come out regarding Just Cause 2. Interviewed by Playstation World magazine, lead designer Peter Johansson revealed that the sequel will aim for “more scope for exploration and experimentation than the original.” Side missions have been ditched, which will hopefully make the game’s much vaunted freedom less of an illusion and more of a reality.

There’s a brand new island to explore – Panau in South East Asia. Rico will have to destabalise the island, remove it’s dictator, Baby Panay and return with his former CO who has gone AWOL on the island.

The island will feature a wider range of environments with snow capped mountains complementing the jungle setting.

Just Cause 2 launches in January on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Multiple versions of the game are on the way with Nocturne developer Terminal Reality taking care of the PS3, 360 and PC versions and Red Fly Studios handling the Wii and DS.

Ghostbusters is one of our favourite movies, the old 8-bit game was something of a classic too, so here’s hoping the update is just as good.

If, like us, you’re fans of the surreal and the absurd then you’ll be foaming at the mouth in anticipation of an all new Sam and Max season. Season one was a big success for Telltale Games, and Season two is all set to continue it’s high standards and low morals. Episode 1, Ice Station Santa, will launch on November 8th and features a Christmas theme with a psychotic Santa taking centre stage. Fans will also welcome the chance to finally set foot in Stinky’s Diner, which remained tantalisingly closed throughout Season one.
