There are a few good demos knocking around Xbox live marketplace at the moment. Blue Dragon, Stranglehold, Beautiful Katamari and Harry Potter are all downloadable now. If there’s one demo you absolutely have to check out at the moment it’s Bioshock.

Bioshock is going to be a really strong candidate for game of the year. It has pedigree, a media buzz and if this demo is anything to go by, it deserves all the attention it’s getting.

The story of one man’s journey through a fallen utopia, this looks a cut above most of what’s out there right now. In terms of art design it’s just outstanding. Every corner begs to be explored. The graphics are incredible and the sound outstanding. Really, don’t take our word for it, download it now! The demo isn’t available on the Japanese marketplace yet, so you’ll need an alternate gamertag if you you want to download it there.
