Longest Ever Tokyo Game Show Underway

The latest Tokyo game show has started, and is open to the public from today, Saturday. It was scheduled to run from Thursday September 17th to Monday 21st, but will now be closed on Monday due to an approaching Typhoon.

This year’s event takes place at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, near Tokyo. As well as the usual big game companies, there’s a huge range of events and things to see. This year there’s a focus on Indie, with 80 lucky developers selected to exhibit their games for free.

There’s a cosplay area, a family gaming court and a ton of cool merchandise to pick up. It’s a shame the Monday event has been cancelled, but there’s still a day left to catch it.
