Take to the Skies in Google Earth

It seems that the latest version of Google Earth has a nice easter egg included – hit Ctrl + Alt + A to enter flight sim mode. Two planes are included – we just took the F16 for a flight over Osaka – not a bad way to spend 5 minutes. Google Earth itself continues to be utterly fantastic.

Booth Babes missing from E3 – still very much present in China

Those disappointed by the lack of booth bathes at E3 might be interested to know that the rest of the world is still using good ‘ol T&A to help their gaming shows go with a bang.

Those of you who thought the ban decision was a sign of the industry’s new maturity and respect for people of all genders probably won’t want to follow the link to Famitsu’s extensive set of pictures.

Pixel Art on Canvas

Art student Jen Shaffer has produced a fine series of pixel-art pieces, including the fabulous Duck Hunt pictured above. The larger paintings go for $150, smaller ones can be picked up for a mere $40. A lot of people seem to be producing game-related art these days, something we’re always keen to see.

We Rule the School

The lucky kids at an Amsterdam primary school found the drab walls had been replaced by these fantastic video-game mosaics. The mosaics feature a whole host of gaming characters including Pacman, Donkey Kong and Lara Croft.

Ductch artist, Arno Coenen produced the fantastic work. If your reading, Arno, would you mind doing our bathroom next?
