This is the coolest way to carry your iPod we’ve ever seen. Who better to guard your tunes than Pac-Man?
The carry case is available from Club Namco for a mere $29.99

We’re deviating from games for a bit to tell you about a book. Confessions of a Chatroom Freak is written by none other than Mr. Biffo, of digitiser fame.
Digitiser, for those of you that didn’t religiously monitor British teletext during the 90’s, was a video game news service that went way beyond what you’d expect it to be – not only providing great video game news, but managing to be very, very funny at the same time. It had a readership of 1.5 million at its peak, it was even funny enough to attract readers that weren’t into games.
The book is a series of, apparently genuine, online conversations. The author pretends to be a 21 year old woman to tempt unsuspecting men into chats. The expectant guys are then subjected to some of the most bizarre questions imaginable. The poor guys carry on regardless in their attempts to woo Lisa, although most of them give up after requesting a picture, and then getting a snap of the 36 year old male author wearing lipstick and a big grin.
It’s surreal stuff, and astonishingly funny. In fact it made me laugh out loud so much that I was unable to read it on the train. I’d recommend everybody to go and buy it right now. Except maybe children. Tramps and Yorkie Peters should probably avoid it too.

This is awesome! Somebody has actually built a real Transformer, it can change from a robot into a four wheeled vehicle and back. Wonder when these will be available in toy shops?

Let’s face it. Gamers are messy people. Wires everywhere, scattered magazines game cases and discs all over the floor. Do you know what we’re talking about? If the last time you cleaned up was the last level of Super Mario Sunshine then you might want to check out this post on unclutterer.com.
It’s a nice checklist of all those things we know we should do, but can’t because we have to find all the hidden bits and achievements in our massive backlog of games.
Some of the tips are a little out there – subsist on one system? Crazy. Most of them are nags that we know we need to hear from time to time. Follow the link if you want to bring order to chaos – in the non Darth Vader sense of course.

Pokemon and Lego are probably two of the best things in the world. We were pretty impressed then, when we saw that Azumu Kawasaki had not only thought to combine the two, but posted the pictures of a whole range of Lego Pokemon on the web.
More than 40 are pictured, including Pikachu seen here.
