Here’s the magazine ad for I Love Dolphin. The game’s going to feature dolphin training and dolphin quizzes. You’ll be able to teach the lovable aquatic mammals to do all sorts of tricks and jumps – and if all goes well you’ll be able to show off your pet’s achievements in a Dolphin Show! No mention of rescuing drowning swimmers from ravenous sharks, but keep your fingers crossed. The game’s coming out in August.

A Pikachu themed DS-Lite is coming out soon. The very yellow, very cool looking handheld is sure to be a big hit when it launches on July 20th. The only way to get hold of one is to register for a raffle at a Pokemon centre in Japan. If you win, you get the chance to buy one for a mere 16,800 yen. Rest assured they’ll be turning up on ebay soon for a hell of a lot more than that.

It’s pretty fiddly looking and it will probably help if your already familiar with homebrewing – although there’s a homebrew guide on their site as well, if you need it.

All time classic adventure game Myst will arrive on the Nintendo DS in November, according to Computerandvideogames.com.

Myst is one of the biggest selling games of all time having shifted over 12 million copies. It’s something of a love-hate title for gamers – some people love the slow paced, cerebral puzzling – others just find it boring. What do you think?

Mistwalker’s sequel to ‘Blue Dragon’, may be released on the Nintendo DS. Whether this means it will lead on the handheld is unclear, the final decision will depend on the games US sales.

If you’ve managed to survive the recent barrage of flying Wii-motes you might want to make sure your Nintendo DS has a properly working adapter.  If you bought your DS in Japan between January and June, or your DS lite between July and October of this year then your AC adapater may be a fire hazard.  Potentially faulty units have ‘JRC’ written on the back. Nintendo will supply you with a free new one – assuming you know how to ask them in Japanese.  Try ‘Atarashi dee esu no adaputa kudasaii’.  That might work.
